Course Offerings

The Guidelines for the school year 2012/2013 are the instrument for defining the criteria and the modalities according to which Provinces and Municipalities have to identify the structure, the territorial distribution of the school network and the programmes of the course offerings.

Regione Campania intends to let the scheduling 2012/2013 – also considered the Decree-Law n. 98/2011 – be just a first phase of a more complex, gradual and systematic plan of modernisation and rationalisation of the regional school network, also with the contribution of the social and institutional parties involved in education processes.

The regional course offerings will be aimed at the adaptation of the existing resources to the professional needs of the region. Therefore, Regione wishes that the Provinces organise their educational offer according to territorial areas, as provided for by the Decree of the President of Regione Campania – Commissario ad acta - n. 1 of 26 July 2000 and by art 138, paragraph 1, letter c) of the Legislative Decree 112/98. With the task of coordination of the various institutions, Regione Campania intends to avail itself of the Regional Coordination Committee, established with the Decree of the Regional Government 5486- 2002, according to the Legislative Decree 112/98. In the overall organisation of the school network, it is necessary to privilege the initiatives that introduce didactic innovation and that fight early school leaving.
