Europe Festival, Winners of Competition

Here are the winners of the second edition of the competition “Tell Europe, Ask Europe”; the works have been displayed on the portal for European funds. The awarding ceremony will be held soon, as well as an exhibition that will be arranged for the Europe Festival.

For the storyboard category, the winners are Liceo Statale Alessandro Manzoni of Caserta with “Le barriere della diversità”, I.I.S.S. Francesco Saverio Nitti of Naples with “Così vicini eppure così lontani”, Liceo classico statale Francesco De Sanctis of Salerno with “Banda Larga”. Concerning ads, Liceo scientifico Statale Giuseppe Mercalli of Naples with “Sui gradini”, Istituto IIS Telesi@ of Telese Terme (in the province of Benevento) with “Teatro scuola che vorrei”, Liceo scientifico Statale Carlo Urbani of San Giorgio a Cremano (in the province of Naples) with “Il rinverdimento dei tetti” take the first three places.

In total, 24 Campania schools participated in the call of the Communication Plan of the ERDF Campania Regional Operational Programme for the period 2007-2013. The competition is designed for all high school and university students of Campania. It aims at creating a storyboard, a promotional or information ad, an article for print media or new media, and a video reportage. How it works: initiatives and actions carried out in Campania through funds granted by the European Union are told, to enhance reflection on issues and innovative aspects to invest in, to set up new cooperation possibilities among Europe, Regione and the citizens. The best works will be awarded on-the-job training programmes and prizes, such as a school travel to Brussels.
