Campania Tourism System, Workshop in Salerno with De Mita

The workshop sponsored by the Regional Administration for Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Regione Campania “The tourism system in Campania: innovation, economy and future” will be held tomorrow Friday 7 December at 16.00 at the Cappella Santa Caterina of the Museo Diocesano of Salerno
Vice president of the Regional Executive Board Giuseppe De Mita, responsible for Tourism and Cultural Heritage, Professor of the University of Naples “Federico II” Annunziata Berrino and artistic director of Giffoni Experience Claudio Gubitosi will attend the meeting, moderated by journalist of the Salerno newsroom of “Il Mattino” Gianni Molinari.
The event in Salerno will start the territorial workshop series sponsored by the Regional Administration for Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Regione Campania to be held over this month and in January. The aim of these meetings is to take stock of the activities, actions and implementations for the tourist and the cultural heritage promotion on the regional territory. Operators and representatives of the sectors have been invited to attend the workshop, too.
Vice president of the Regional Executive Board Giuseppe De Mita stated: “We deem it important to promote this workshop series in order to supply an overall outlook of the actions already implemented and those activities still to be carried out over the next months in the sector of tourist development and cultural heritage promotion. Every workshop will aim at debating tourism from several and different point of views but they all will focus on the economic and production aspect of the sector. We will start from Salerno, one of the regional areas with the most remarkable cultural heritage and tourist aspect. Artistic Director Claudio Gubitosi is doubtlessly the conceiver and the soul of one of the most representative example of excellence made in Campania as for planning, creativity and innovation”.
Vice president De Mita concluded: “We aim at constantly and successfully debating with sector-related operators and stakeholders and these workshops, starting from the one to be held in Salerno, aim at being a useful exchange occasion to make everyone continue to play his/her role, being well aware and consistent with the several local needs”.
