The Commissioner responsible for remediation activities in Giugliano and the National Health Institute signed an agreement on 2 May 2011. This Institute, as technical and scientific body of the National Healthcare Service, has now the task to support the assessment of healthcare risks related to occurrence of pollutants in environmental matrices of the “Area Vasta” of Giugliano and the area of “Laghetti” in Castel Volturno.
