Responsibilities: Management of emergency and post-emergency operations; management of emergency situations following interface fires; actions to fight forest fires in coordination with the Directorate General for Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies. Support for the Administrations and Local Authorities in the marking of areas concerned with disasters and for the damage assessment. First assessment and first aid activities following a disaster. Management of the mobile column; information and communication to citizens in case of a disaster, preparation for emergency; activities related to civil protection voluntary work and its coordination and training; management of the operations room; rescue drills. Inspection and technical monitoring service for post-emergency actions on structures.
