Responsibilities: Preliminary activity concerning regional planning acts; development and regulation of social and healthcare services and actions. Development of guidelines to complete procedures concerning de-hospitalisation (namely the discharge from hospitals of patients who could be treated with residential or similar care); promotion of development and regulation of the residential and semi-residential and in-patient specialist care. Oncologic and healthcare residential care, scheduled home care; revision of agreements with family doctors, primary care paediatricians and internal in-patient specialists; promotion of innovative regional care in cooperation with family doctors, specialist care continuity. Actions to eliminate waiting lists and monitoring of its trend. Assessment of corporate acts concerning regional actions. Relations with accredited facilities, including agreements ex article 8 quinquies of the Legislative Decree no. 502/92 and subsequent amendments and additions.
