Responsibilities: Drafting of the regional plan for prevention and monitoring of the relevant implementation; promotion of education programmes and healthcare promotion; promotion and coordination of early diagnosis programmes; promotion and coordination of actions for prevention and support for social and healthcare need, mental healthcare, health of mothers and babies, relations with the local health units prevention departments, requirement concerning forensic and insurance medicine, work and school medicine; coordination of activities with the regional epidemiological observatory.
