Responsibilities: Observatory on the labour market; drafting of the three-year planning paper for public action in the labour market and the annual plan for job policies and vocational training (Regional Law no. 14/2009). Support for the regional Conference on employment dynamics and for the labour quality and the Regional Committee for Labour; promotion of hiring benefits; promotion of job regularity and fight to irregular work. Actions to favour the transformation of undeclared work to declared work and to strengthen new businesses; support for the regional coordination Board for work security, measures to promote hiring equality, policies for job inclusion of non-EU immigrates; apprenticeship promotion, fostering and ruling of training and guidance practice, measures for self-employers and self-employment.
