Regione Campania – EU Regional Office


The EU Regional Office is established in Brussels by the Regional Law n. 18 of 11 December 2008; it functions as a technical, administrative and operational link between Regione Campania and EU Institutions.

ACTIVITIES AND FUNCTIONS

The Office has the following tasks:

  • constant information and update about the European Commission’s regulations on subjects of interest for the region, in order to inform promptly the Regional Executive Board and the Regional Council;
  • European information desk on the institutional activities of Regione Campania;
  • support to the President and to the members of the Regional Executive Board, to the Regional Council and Councillors, as well as to the representatives of Regione Campania in the bodies and in the Employment Committees of EU institutions;
  • connection between Regione Campania and the Italian Permanent Representation to the European Union;
  • information, support and assistance to the activities of authorities, firms and public and private bodies about the opportunities offered by EU rules;
  • Regione Campania’s officials training in European Affairs and Europlanning;
  • The Office supports, in compliance with the parameters provided for by EU regulations, graduated or almost-graduated interns in EU matters or graduates who attend Master’s degrees of postgraduate schools in EU matters.
